In reply to Allan Peason. If you defrocked priests who didn't believe that the bible was the inspired work of God,there would be very few left in the communion,....but then that would not necessarily be a bad thing.

Jesus Christ said
John 14:6
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
It is not that we should always walk together for sometimes there will those amongst us that insist on walking away from Jesus. Clearly it is for us to walk with Jesus in all things, including those things that Jesus taught about marriage.

I have had conversations with Priests of the Anglican Church of Canada in which these Priests openly stated that the Holy Bible was not written by God. So for me I cannot be a member of the Anglican Church of Canada until these Priests are defrocked and removed from Ministry.

I am sure that GAFCON and ACNA will join the larger group if they admit that they have deviated from the teaching of the bible not just dealing with homosexuality but other foundational truths declared in the bible. When we come into Gods church it is not on the basis of what we want to believe is the truth but what the bible declares as the truth. We are to conform to it not us forming it after the fashion of the world.

To God be the glory! Tensions remain but the Holy Spirit calls those who follow Jesus Christ to walk together in witness to a needy world. It is my prayer that groups like ACNA and GAFCON will rejoin the larger Church of God in unified witness to the love of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank, you, leaders of our Anglican Communion for yielding to God’s Holy Spirit and conducting yourselves in a way that honours Jesus Christ.

The Bible quoting JESUS categorically states that marriage is between man & woman. Christianity was founded on the teachings of JESUS. To leave HIS teachings & follow your inclinations & the secular world to please a few is not the answer. It is causing division and by pandering to a few brings the Church into disrepute, especially at a time when it losing its appeal .
