					<description><![CDATA[I ask that we replace the name of Jesus omitted from any Christian prayer being contemplated as substitute for the original. It should be the position of the church that in practice and prayer we recognise Jesus as Lord and Christ (or Messiah, if you like). We will find reconciliation in Him and relationship to God through the new covenant in His blood.
Paul says &quot;even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.&quot; After being flogged at the order of the Sanhedrin, the apostles &quot;never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.&quot;
Neither should we stop proclaiming His gospel. Even the Lord admits &quot;All day long have I stretched out my hands...&quot;]]></description>
