As a mom of a beautiful trans daughter, my heart broke with yours that day and I promise to keep fighting the fight. I live in a small town near Ottawa where we are celebrating PRIDE for the first time this year (online). I hope to get local churches involved next year when we can have in person events…hopefully. Thank you for speaking your truth at Synod and for not giving up and leaving the church; it is made so much better and we are all truly blessed by your presence in it.
