The Rev. Laldin writes about the objection and discomfort that ethnic minorities in the church must feel to the proposal for recognition of the marriage of same-sex couples. “In more than one way, visible ethnic minorities in the church feel that they have to either go along with the dominant culture or be willing to face discrimination and ostracization,” he writes.
