					<description><![CDATA[Mark, thank you for your excellent article re consumption and climate injustice.  At my ripe old age of 71 years, I&#039;m finding it increasingly difficult to love my neighbour.  &#039;Forgive them for they know not what they do&#039; is another one.... I think &#039;they&#039; DO know what they&#039;re doing.  

My husband and I head up the Environmental Committee (or something like that) at our church.  &#039;Landfills are a blight on God&#039;s creation&#039; is something I&#039;m trying to emblazon on people&#039;s minds.  Simplify your lifestyle!!  Use less!!

On the sunnier side, I&#039;ve got a compost pail in our church kitchen now and am gradually seeing a little interest about what can go into it.  I just say that if it grew, it&#039;s acceptable.  The composter is conveniently located near the kitchen&#039;s back door and it&#039;s coming along.  One parishioner saves a week&#039;s worth of compost and brings it every Sunday morning!
