Justice camp planned

The diocese of Ottawa will be part of a six-day Advocacy Justice Camp in May in Ottawa to “advance the cause of social justice in a manner consistent with the Gospel.” The national church’s eco-justice committee and the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund are also involved. The camp’s theme, “Seeking Justice, Engaging the Powers,” builds on the success of a Food Justice Camp held in Winnipeg last August, which was attended by five representatives from Ottawa. Dates are May 8-13. Residency will be at the University of Ottawa. Contact Pat Bonell, phone (613) 233-6271 ext. 222 or e-mail pat-bonnell@ottawa.anglican.ca.
