Even before the Pandemic, I was struggling to find my place in the Anglican Church. And, I want church to be an important part of my life. During the Pandemic, many churches of all denominations started streaming their Sunday services, with little success. I don't want to be critical, but attendance at church services before the Pandemic had seriously declined, so why would we assume streaming individual church services would met with success. I would have thought that the Anglican Dioceses would have come together and taken a leadership role to design a single service for all parishioners in Eastern NL. There is a saying "never let a serious crisis go to waste". The Anglican Church should have taken this Pandemic as an opportunity to "do Church" differently. That was not the case, it seems the Anglican leadership is waiting for the Pandemic to end, so things will go back to the way things were. Fortunately, yes fortunately, things will not go back to the ways there were, because that was not working. Just as Premier Furey plans to reimagine our province, Anglicans need to reimagine our church.

"we have come to a new appreciation for our clergy and leadership teams"

The Clergy have debased themselves by suspending communion. Did Christ suspend his ministry even though he knew he was going to be killed by the Authorities? Nope. So how is it that Bishops and Clergy should be appreciate for destroying the communion by suspending it?

The garment has been destroyed.

The chain has been broken.

Someone got to pay and it has got to be the clergy who presided over this.

Every Parish that didn't have a service of holy communion on easter within which communion was delivered in both kinds, the clergy should be excommunicated, along with the bishops who failed to require the canonical services be held.
