					<description><![CDATA[As a point of clarification, I did not move the resolution but, rather, moved an amendment to the resolution which added the desire for a review of the rules of procedure.

Unfortunately the governance working group has decided not to look at the possibility of the orders of clergy and laity being able, like the order of bishops, to make a joint statement to General Synod. This became an issue in 2019 when the majority of clergy and laity signed off on a joint statement but the officers of General Synod did not allow the statement to be made to Synod.]]></description>
