Dear editor,
I find it bizarre that in your latest issue – which is largely devoted to General Synod resolutions regarding same-sex blessings – you also publish an article on the “end” of the slave trade. Surely the similarity between making people sit at the back of the bus and allowing those with same-sex preference to come to church but sit in the “back pews” – and not approach the altar to partake in rites such as marriage – is inescapable.
