Erb honored

Canon John Erb, director of the Anglican Foundation, was among a group honoured last May by the Newman Centre at the University of Toronto as founders of the Out of the Cold program, which coordinates meals and shelter for homeless people at churches throughout Toronto.

The centre, a Roman Catholic mission for ministry and social programs, bestowed its Kindly Light Award on the Out of the Cold founders, who started the program in 1988. Canon Erb is director of the Anglican Foundation.
