CoGS joins Amazing Grace project

Members of the Council of General Synod (CoGS) take a break from their fall meeting in Toronto to record Amazing Grace for a project aimed at “lifting our voices together in song, expressing our faith in Christ, and celebrating a common life and witness.”

They came, they sang, they contributed.

Members of the Council of General Synod (CoGS), on Nov. 14 sang Amazing Grace and contributed a toonie or more each for a project designed to unite Canadian Anglicans in song and celebrate their common life and witness.

Anglican parishes and groups across Canada are being invited to sing the hymn Amazing Grace on November 23, to videotape it, and to send their videos to the General Synod church office in Toronto.

Participants are also being invited each to contribute $2 to the Council of the North. For more information, please visit the Amazing Grace Project Web site, www2.anglican.ca/amazinggrace/
