Religion and spirituality websites are attracting increasing numbers of visitors. The month of July 2012, for example, clocked a 10 per-cent increase in unique visitors to such sites over the previous month-a rise from about 32,000 to 35,000-according to comScore, a leading Internet analytics company based in Reston, Va.
On Aug. 30, comScore listed the top 10 visited sites in its religion/spirituality category. The Washington, D.C.-based Christian Post, a non-denominational evangelical online publication launched in 2000, recently took over the lead position in comScore’s Religion/Spirituality category.
