Organist honored

A church organist with 51 years of service was honored at St. Christopher’s Anglican Church , Osoyoos, B.C. Margaret Boone retired as organist last summer. She was the first organist to play in the church’s new basement in 1949 on a pedal type organ. Ms. Boone was also the organist last April when St. Christopher?s celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Rev. Patrick Reid gave Ms. Boone a letter of appreciation from Archbishop David Crawley during a special service, which was followed by an informal reception.
