Maybe it is time for reformation, a time for the church to get back to its roots, the foundational truths on which the church was built.

It is just so sad. Of course we have to pray for the victims in Las Vegas. Pray that God will bring us all together and that we will respect all people — all of us made by God and made in his/her image. The world has so many massive problems. Our Anglican infighting is absolutely ridiculous and an embarrassment and no wonder people leave the church in droves.

Politics always needs to be taken into account as so much of what the church does, or does not do is affected by it. However, NEVER is it OK to cast compassion aside in the name of politics for one’s own agenda, whatever that may be.
