Two prominent Anglicans will receive honorary doctorates at the Nov. 2 convocation at St. John’s College, Winnipeg.

Archdeacon Jim Boyles, general secretary of the Anglican Church of Canada, is being honoured for his work on residential school issues in recent years.

Bishop Andrew Atagotaaluk, diocesan bishop of the Arctic and the church’s first Inuit bishop, will be recognized for his contributions to the translation of the New Testament into Inuktitut.
