Much could be said about this unbalanced and largely uninformed article. But I'll simply say - regarding "Anglicans stand against KM pipeline" - I never knew it was a requirement as an Anglican to be a member of the Green party - although that could be the wider impression among the general public.

One last point: Primate Hiltz stood with our aboriginal bishops in opposing the Standing Rock pipeline (North Dakota). The case there was stronger than KM, which is twinning an existing pipeline, where native groups are divided on the issue, and where the company in question has already been through the wringer in a stringent approval process. So I hope our Primate has the good sense to stay out of this one.

As suggested, the 'Headline' would suggest that ALL Anglicans are against the Kinder Morgan Pipeline Extension.
I am at least one Anglican who agrees with progress not regression. This Pipeline Extension will provide employment where it is vitally needed & certainly enhance prosperity to the immediate area as well as across Canada.
It must be noted that there are several First Nations People who are saying 'shut up and get on with progress'.

I don’t mind people protesting but if you draw the Anglican Church into the debate you are suggesting that there is some kind of consensus among Anglicans. I do not agree.
