Sadly my Anglican Church is being torn apart over the topic of sexualty. The ACNA is coming to meet with individuals to sell this new church this weekend. Members of our Church who have communed together for many years. They are now strongly sharing opinions with those who want to split trying to close the doors of our church. It is a very difficult time.

The article states:
“ACNA was formed in 2009 by a churches and individuals that left the Anglican Church of Canada and the U.S.-based Episcopal Church because of deep differences over the issue of human sexuality.”
This is not correct. We left the Anglican Church of Canada and the Episcopal Church USA because these churches stopped upholding the Christian Faith. From my own experiences of conversations that I have had with priests of the ACoC I can tell you that the ACoC no longer believes that the Holy Bible is authored by God, that it can ignore the Creeds as well as ignore the 39 Articles of Religion. It openly states that other faiths are legitimate and that Christianity is only one of several ways to God.

To pretend that people like me left the ACoC “…because of deep differences over the issue of human sexuality” is a bold faced lie!
