					<description><![CDATA[Since the time of Ted Scott, when I first began my involvement with the Anglican Church, I have been appreciative of the primates and their function in pastoral ministry.  

I wonder about this statement:  &quot;The primate is considered the first among equals of the bishops and metropolitans across Canada.&quot;    Are the bishops and metropolitans also Primus inter pares to priests, canons, warden, and just &quot;ordinary&quot; Christians?   I find it interesting that in marriage the &quot;obey&quot; is no longer in such common use, including in Anglican weddings I have witnessed.  I wonder if we applied Primus inter pares to the role of husband in a marriage if that would be as widely accepted in Canadian Anglican thought as it is in some other religious/denominational groups.]]></description>
