In the 70&#039;s my child was called a &quot;wagon burner.&quot;   In order to seize Mother Earth from the original care givers, the self appointed greedy easily convinced the settlers that they were free to destroy &quot;the animals&quot; &#038; even paid for scalps.  On the other hand, traditional Indigenous culture &#038; ceremony involve sharing, caring &#038; helping each other.  Most important, to regularly give thanks to the Creator for what is available for survival without having to pay $$$.  I survived residential school run by the Anglican church whose minister made every attempt to destroy our sense of well-being and self-worth.]]></description>
